Cookie Policy
Effective date: May 16, 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how Neosapients, Inc. and its affiliates (“we,” “us,” or “our”) use cookies and similar technologies on our website and Platform. It tells you what types of cookies we use, why we use them, what data they collect, how long they are retained, whether they involve the sharing or sale of personal information, and how you can control them. This policy is designed to comply with applicable privacy laws, including the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (collectively, “CCPA/CPRA”).
By continuing to use our website or Platform, you consent to our use of cookies in accordance with this policy (except for strictly necessary cookies, which do not require consent). You can withdraw or update your consent at any time — see Section 5. If you are a California resident, you have the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information collected through cookies, including for cross-context behavioral advertising. See Section 5A.
1. What Are Cookies and Similar Technologies
Cookies are small text files placed on your computer, tablet, or mobile device when you visit a website or use a web-based application. They are widely used to make websites and platforms work, function more efficiently, and provide useful information to their owners.
In addition to cookies, we may use similar technologies including:
- Web beacons and pixel tags tiny image files embedded in web pages or emails that signal when a page or email has been opened
- Local storage data stored locally in your browser, similar to cookies but without an expiry date
- Session replay tools software that records user interactions (such as clicks and scrolling) to help us understand how the Platform is used, in pseudonymised form
- Log files server logs that automatically record certain technical data when you access the Platform, including your IP address, browser type, and pages visited
2. Cookies We Use
Strictly Necessary
These cookies are essential for our website and Platform to function. They enable core features such as user authentication, session management, security enforcement, and load distribution. You cannot opt out of strictly necessary cookies — without them, the services you have requested cannot be delivered. These cookies do not involve the sale or sharing of personal information as defined under the CCPA/CPRA, and are retained for the length of the session or up to 24 hours.
- Session and authentication tokens maintain your logged-in state across page requests
- Security cookies protect against cross-site request forgery (CSRF) and other attacks
- Load balancing cookies distribute traffic across our servers to ensure performance
- Cookie consent cookies store your preferences so we do not ask again on each visit
Performance & Analytics
These cookies help us understand how users interact with our website and Platform so we can measure and improve performance. Data collected is anonymised or aggregated where feasible. Certain analytics cookies may involve the disclosure of personal information (such as unique identifiers or browsing behavior) to third-party analytics providers, which may constitute “sharing” of personal information under the CCPA/CPRA for cross-context behavioral advertising purposes. You may opt out of such sharing see Section 5A. These cookies are retained for up to 13 months.
- Page analytics — track which pages are visited, how long users stay, and which features are used most
- Error and performance monitoring — detect broken links, slow page loads, and technical errors
- A/B testing — compare different versions of Platform features to determine which performs better
- Funnel and conversion tracking — measure how users progress through key flows such as sign-up or onboarding
Functional
Functional cookies allow our Platform to remember choices you make and provide enhanced, personalised features. These cookies may be set by us or by third-party providers whose services we have added to the Platform. When set by third-party providers, data collected through these cookies may be disclosed to those providers, but is not used for the sale or sharing of personal information as defined under the CCPA/CPRA. These cookies are retained for up to 12 months.
- Language and region preferences — remember your language or locale settings
- UI and layout preferences — save your display preferences such as dashboard layout or theme
- Saved filters and views — retain your configurations so they persist across sessions
- Chat and support tools — enable in-Platform support chat widgets to recognise returning users
Marketing & Targeting
Marketing cookies are only set with your explicit consent. They are used to deliver advertising and content relevant to your interests, to measure the effectiveness of our campaigns, and where you have consented to transmit signals to advertising partners. We do not use these cookies to build individual profiles for the purpose of selling them to third parties. Under the CCPA/CPRA, the use of marketing and targeting cookies may constitute the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information, including for purposes of “cross-context behavioral advertising” as defined by the CPRA. The categories of personal information that may be sold or shared through these cookies include unique identifiers, internet or other electronic network activity information (such as browsing history and interactions with advertisements), and inferences drawn from this information. This information may be disclosed to advertising networks, social media platforms, and data analytics providers. You have the right to opt out see Section 5A.
- Campaign attribution — identify which channel, campaign, or advertisement led you to our Platform
- Retargeting pixels — allow trusted partners to show relevant advertisements on other websites after you have visited ours
- Email engagement tracking — detect whether marketing emails have been opened or clicked
- Interest-based advertising signals — share pseudonymous interaction data with advertising platforms such as LinkedIn, Google, and others, where you have consented. Under the CCPA/CPRA, this activity constitutes “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising
3. Third-Party Cookies
Some cookies placed when you use our Platform are set by third-party services we use to deliver functionality, analytics, or advertising. These include providers of:
- Web analytics (for example, services that measure traffic and usage patterns)
- Identity and authentication (for example, single sign-on providers)
- Customer support and live chat tools
- Video hosting and interactive content
- Advertising and remarketing platforms
These third parties set and control their own cookies under their own privacy and cookie policies. We do not have access to or control over those cookies. We encourage you to review the relevant third-party policies before using those features. Under the CCPA/CPRA, our disclosure of personal information to certain of these third parties particularly advertising and remarketing platforms may constitute a “sale” or “sharing” of personal information. For a list of the categories of personal information we have sold or shared in the preceding 12 months and the categories of third parties to whom it was sold or shared, please see Section 5A below or contact us at privacy@neosapients.ai.
4. Cookie Retention
Session cookies: expire automatically when you close your browser. These are used primarily for strictly necessary and functional purposes.
Persistent cookies: remain on your device for a set period depending on their purpose: strictly necessary cookies up to 24 hours, performance and analytics cookies up to 13 months, functional cookies up to 12 months, and marketing and targeting cookies up to 24 months. You can delete persistent cookies at any time through your browser settings.
Third-party cookies: are governed by the retention periods set by the relevant third party.
5. Managing Your Preferences
When you first access our website or Platform, a cookie banner gives you the option to accept, reject, or customise non-essential cookies by category. You can update your preferences at any time by clicking the "Cookie Settings" link in the footer of the Platform or website.
You can also control cookies through your browser. Most browsers allow you to:
- View what cookies are stored and delete them individually or in bulk
- Block third-party cookies
- Block all cookies from specific websites
- Block all cookies entirely (note: this will significantly affect Platform functionality)
For guidance on managing cookies in your browser, visit the support pages for Chrome, Firefox, Safari, or Edge. You can also opt out of interest-based advertising through the IAB Europe Transparency & Consent Framework, the Network Advertising Initiative (NAI) opt-out tool at optout.networkadvertising.org, or Digital Advertising Alliance tools.
5A. Your CCPA/CPRA Rights: Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information
If you are a California resident, the CCPA/CPRA gives you specific rights regarding the personal information collected through cookies and similar technologies. This section describes those rights and how to exercise them.
Right to Opt Out of Sale or Sharing. You have the right to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of your personal information, as those terms are defined under the CCPA/CPRA. Certain cookies on our website and Platform particularly marketing, targeting, and certain analytics cookies may result in the sale or sharing of personal information with third-party advertising networks, social media platforms, and data analytics providers. You may exercise your opt-out right in any of the following ways:
- Click the “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” link available in the footer of our website and Platform. This will direct you to our cookie preference center, where you can disable marketing, targeting, and analytics cookies that involve the sale or sharing of your personal information.
- Enable a browser-based opt-out preference signal, such as the Global Privacy Control (“GPC”) at globalprivacycontrol.org. We recognize and honor GPC signals as a valid opt-out request under the CCPA/CPRA. When we detect a GPC signal, we will treat it as a request to opt out of the sale and sharing of personal information associated with that browser and device.
- Submit an opt-out request by emailing us at privacy@neosapients.ai with the subject line “CCPA Opt-Out Request.” Please include sufficient information for us to verify your identity and process your request.
- You may also designate an authorized agent to submit an opt-out request on your behalf. We may require the authorized agent to provide proof of authorization and may require you to verify your identity directly with us.
Right to Limit Use of Sensitive Personal Information. We do not use cookies to collect or process sensitive personal information as defined under the CCPA/CPRA. If this practice changes, we will update this policy and provide a “Limit the Use of My Sensitive Personal Information” link.
Categories of Personal Information Sold or Shared. In the preceding 12 months, we may have sold or shared the following categories of personal information through cookies and similar technologies: (a) identifiers (such as unique cookie IDs and device identifiers); (b) internet or other electronic network activity information (such as browsing history, search history, and interactions with our website, Platform, or advertisements); and (c) inferences drawn from the foregoing (such as preferences or characteristics). These categories were disclosed to advertising networks, social media platforms, and data analytics providers for purposes of targeted advertising, campaign measurement, and cross-context behavioral advertising.
Non-Discrimination. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your CCPA/CPRA rights. We will not deny you services, charge you different prices, provide you a different level or quality of service, or suggest that you will receive a different price or quality of service for exercising your rights.
Retention and Minimization. We retain personal information collected through cookies only as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes disclosed in this policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law. We do not retain personal information collected through cookies for longer than is reasonably necessary for the disclosed purpose of collection. For specific retention periods by cookie category, see Section 4 above.
6. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in technology, law, or our use of cookies. When we make material changes, we will notify you by updating the effective date at the top of this policy and, where required by law, resetting your cookie consent so you can review and re-confirm your preferences.
